New Instruments, New Students!
Francis Morris, Berkshire County's maestro of violinmaking, stopped by this Friday to deliver five quality instruments. Needless to say, they are beautiful, with carbon fiber bows and special mechanical pegs that don't slip!
Francis has been a friend to the program since the beginning, when he volunteered his time to make tune-ups and appraise instruments. Since then he has donated a number of quality shoulder rests, and now these instruments. It's remarkable that such a small shop, dedicated to making the highest quality instruments, can be so generous. Click here for examples of Francis' work.
